Anton Korobov wins 16th Poikovsky Karpov tournament on tie-break |

The 16th Poikovsky Karpov chess tournament took place from September 27th to October 8th, 2015, in town Poikovsky, situated at the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District Yugra in Russia.
The event was a strong round-robin tournament of 10 grandmasters.
Ukrainian GM Anton Korobov and GM Viktor Bologan from Moldova split the first place at 6 points each but Korobov prevailed on a superior tie-break score to take the gold.
Grandmasters Enesto Inarkiev (Russia), Emil Sutovsky (Israel) and Denis Khismatullin (Russia) shared the third place at 5 points, while Igor Lysyj (Russia) and Ilia Smirin (Russia) finished with 4 points.
