China wins the match against Russia |

In the final, fifth round of the match the men's Russian team drew against China with 2.5-2.5 score. Maxim Matlakov defeated Wei Yi and Vladimir Fedoseyev lost to Bu Xiangzhi, while the other games were drawn. The final score of the match is 14:11 in China's favor.
In the women's section the Chinese won with 4-1 score. Ding Yixin defeated Valentina Gunina, Shen Yang was stronger against Natalia Pogonina and Lei Tingjie won against Alexandra Goryachkina. The score of the match is 15:10 in favor of the Chinese women.
The overall results of the match is 29:21 in favor of China.
A traditional friendly match between national teams of Russia and China took place in Ningbo (China) on July 13-21. It was a 5-5 single round robin system for both men and women teams.
Total prize fund of the match - 50,000 USD.
The prize distrubution is $18,000 to the winner, $12,000 to the loser of men's match, and $12,000 to the winner, $8,000 to the loser of the women's match.
