The 6th edition of Altibox Norway Chess 2018 takes place from 26th May to 10th June 2018, in Stavanger, Norway. The event features 10 of the world top 13 chess players.
In the penultimate round American players Hikaru Nakamura and Fabiano Caruana have won their respective games to climb to the top of the standings.
Heading into the final round four players are sharing the first place with 4,0 points each.

Earlier in the tournament Ding Liren had to withdraw from participation due to hip injury. Shakhriyar Mamedyarov is free in the last round.
