Ardabil Chess Association under the auspices of the I.R Iran Chess Federation has the honour to invite all players of national chess federations to participate in the 25th International Chess festival "Fajr Sabalan Cup" to be organized in Sareyn, Ardabil, Iran from 27th January to 5th February 2017.

The event will be split into two separate tournaments:
Category A Master Tournament – open for players rated 2100 and above
Category B – open for players rated below 2100

Top prize in Category A is 80,000,000 IRR (approximately 2000 $) and total prize is about 600,000,000 IRR (approximately 15000 $).

Hotel will be free for GMs, IMs, WGMs & WIMs.
