The Federation Royale Marocaine des Echecs organizes the 9th Trophy, 9th International Open Championship Mohammed Sekkat from November 21st till December 1st 2016 in Tangier, at Almohades City Center (4*) Hotel.

The Championship will be played in 9 rounds according to the FIDE Swiss System (computer pairing). The rate of play is 90 minutes and 30 seconds per each move.
