Success of young girls at the First Saturday Budapest August events

It has been the second time this summer GM Berczes David (HUN) wins the GM section. He could be a top GM if he avoids self-generated time trouble that he likes creating just for fun.

IGM BERCZES, David (HUN)

A pleasant surprise was the solid, thoughtful play of former National Champion (2012) WGM Papp Petra (22) who is a member of the Hungarian National Olympic team.
She has achieved her second IM norm.

Havasi Gergo (HUN) collected his fifth IM norm and is only 6 rating points away from the title.

The usual Rapid event that is open to everybody, gives excellent opportunity for training.
Grimm Daniel (HUN) who was just one point away from the IM norm in the GM section last month was the winner this time.
Horvath Dominik who is one of the top U16 players of Austria could win 62 FIDE Rapid rating points. He has proved a spectacular progress since he started working with former Olympic Champion GM Zoltan Ribli (HUN).
