 The 2nd International Summer Chess Tournament of Moudania Chess Academy is going to take place 22-30 August 2016 in Halkidiki, Greece. It is a 9 rounds FIDE rated open event with rate of play 90 minutes for 40 moves followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with an increment of 30 seconds per move, starting from move one. The total prize fund is 4000 eur, 1500 of which for the winner.
Among the top player of the tournament two months before the start are GM Hristos Banikas, GM Athanasios Mastrovasilis, IM Angelos Sandalakis, IM Novak Pezelj, GM Zvonko Stanojoski, IM Andrei-Nestor Cioara, IM Velislav Kukov, IM Doru-Alexandru Ionescu, etc.
