GM Miroslav Markovic wins Silver Star Blitz |

Reigning Serbian champion GM Miroslav Markovic has won the “Silver Star” Blitz Tournament that was held on 22nd June as part of the Silver Lake Chess Festival.
Markovic gathered 7,5/9 points, same as GM Branko Damljanovic and IM Nikola Radovanovic, but he took the top prize on best tie-break.
Other prize winners are Grandmasters Miodrag Savic, Petar Genov i Borko Lajthajm, on shared 4th place, best placed woman WFM Annamaria Marjanovics (Hungary) and best placed U18 junior IM Valeriy Kazakovskiy (Belarus).
Tournament on the boat “Silver Star” gathered 103 players from 14 countries, including 15 Grandmasters and 12 International Masters.
