The Hungarian Chess Federation has the pleasure to announce the organization of the 35th Zalakaros International Chess Festival, which is going to be the greatest chess event of the year in Hungary.
It is the Hungarian National Open Championship at the same time. The event offers a great opportunity for all those players who would like to achieve GM, WGM, IM or WIM FIDE Title norms since as a principle only players above 2300 will be allowed to enter.
Group B is for players rated 1800 – 2400 (IM, WGM, WIM norms possible) Group C is for players below 1800 (also FIDE-rated)
Zalakaros is a beautiful holiday resort with thermal spa, which is also extended inside the biggest Hotel areas.
