International Open Chess Tournament

“Nona -75th anniversary”
21 – 30 April 2016

R E G U L A T I O N S

1. Organizers:
– Ministry of Sport and Youth of Georgia and Georgian Chess Federation
– Tbilisi city Hall

2. Tournaments:
- A Open tournament for any player (FIDE rating 2001 and more, Fide titled players)
- B Open tournament for any player (FIDE rating 2000 and under and without rating)

3. Mode:
– 9 rounds, Swiss system, FIDE rules are applied.
– The time limit is: A Open tournament - 40 moves in 90 minutes, then 30 minutes for the rest of the game. An increment of 30 seconds per move, starting from 1 move will be added after each move. B Open tournament - 90 minutes, for the rest of the game. An increment of 30 seconds per move, starting from 1 move will be added after each move.
– Appeals committee (5 members) will be selected during the opening.
