 The 86th German Chess Championship is taking place from 2-12th December, 2015, at the Hermann-Neuberger sports school in Saarbrücken.
The 9-round Swiss event features 36 participants, including Grandmasters Daniel Friedman, Igor Khenkin, Alexander Donchenko, Vitali Kunin, René Stern and Klaus Bischoff.
The Championship is organized by the Saarländischer Schachverband 1921 e.V. The total prize fund is 16,000 EUR, with 5000 EUR reserved for the winner.
