For the second year running the Central Serbia Chess Federation is holding round robin tournaments for the GM and IM norms. This time the tournaments are being held in Hotel "Sumarice" in Kragujevac.
The Grandmaster event has 10 participants, while the IM event, dedicated to the memory of former CSCF President Milutin Karaklajic, has 6 participants.
The lineup is very attractive with young players from eight countries: India, Russia, Germany, Italy, France, BIH, Montenegro and host Serbia.
The CSCF President Zoran Bojovic said: "We hope that this kind of tournaments, where the young players have chance to win international title norms, are becoming tradition for our federation."
CSCF Deputy President Branislav Suhartovic shared that upon announcement of the tournaments he had "recieved dozens of application from the country and from abroad". The reason are the very good conditions for participation where the players were not charged any entry fees.
The honorary moves were made by Dimitrije Karaklajic and "Sumarice" Director Milenko Marjanovic.
The arbiters are IA Milivoje Milivojevic, NA Zoran Novoselski (both SRB) and NA Zeljko Miljanic (MNE).
