GMs Kraai, Sevillano and Bakre share first at Edmonton Invitational 2015 Print

Edmonton InvitationalThe 2015 edition of Edmonton Invitational Chess Tournament was held from November 6th through November 12th, in Edmonton, the capital city of the Canadian province of Alberta.

The event was a round-robin tournament of 10 players and top seeds tied for the first place at 7.5/9 points each.

GM Jesse Kraai (USA), GM Enrico Sevillano (USA) and GM Tejas Bakre (India) emerged convincing winners, leaving the nearest follower, FM Dale Haessel (Canada) 2.5 points behind.

Vladimir Pechenkin (Canada) came out fifth with 4.5 points, while Nicolas Haynes (Canada) and Vladislav Rekhson (Canada) split the sixth place at 3.5 points.
