Lazaro Bruzon wins Iberoamerican Championship in Bilbao |

The 6th Iberoamerican Chess Championship was held from 26th October to 3rd November at the Campos Theater in Bilbao, Spain. The event was held concurrently with the Bilbao Chess Masters 2015.
GM Lazaro Bruzon Batista from Cuba is the clear winner with 7,5/9 points, leaving a group of followers half a point behind.
After the tie-breaks, GM Julio Granda Zuniga from Peru won the silver, while GM Axel Bachmann from Paraguay (last year champion) took the bronze.
