IM Axel Delorme wins XIII Amantea International Tournament 2015 Print

Amantea InternationalThe 13th International Chess Festival Amantea took place from September 6th – 13th, 2015, at Hotel “Marechiaro”, in the Italian town of Amantea.

The event was a 9-round open tournament with time control 90’/40 moves + 30’ + 30”.

IM Axel Delorme from France lifted the trophy with 6.5/9 points and took the first prize of 1,000 EUR, leaving the nearest followers half a point behind.

Grandmasters Andrey Vovk (Ukraine), Sebastien Maze (France) and Alberto David (Italy) tied for the second place at 6 points each.

Italian player WFM Maria Teresa Arnetta emerged the best female in the tournament with 4.5 points and 13th position.
