The 1st Arab Chess Olympiad Championships 2015


Under the auspices of the FIDE and the Arab Chess Federation (ACF), the Royal Moroccan Chess Federation has the honor to organize the first Arab Chess Olympiad champioships from 1 to 21 October 2015 in the city of Agadir, Morocco.

This event groups the following activities:
1. Arab Clubs Championship league.
2. Individual Arab open and women championship, classic.
3. Individual Arab open and women championship, rapid.
4. Individual Arab open and women championship, blitz.
5. Arab Youth championship categories under 8,10,12,14,16,18 and 20 years, girls and boys.
6. FIDE Arbiter's Seminar with lecturer IA Mehdi Abderrahim (UAE), assistant lecturer IA Akkour Abdelfattah (Morocco). The langauge of the seminar will be Arabic with translation in French.
7. FIDE Trainer's Seminar with lecturer IA Slim BOUAZIZ (TUN), assistant lecturer IA Akkour Abdelfattah (Morocco). The langauge of the seminar will be Arabic with translation in French.


Awards

6.1 The winners of Individual Arab open and women championship, classic will be awarded FIDE titles as follows:
a) Open section: IM for the first three players if players sharing the same points.
b) Women Section: IM for the first three players if are egal.
c) 1 player in 1st position: IM (WIM) with one norm of GM (WGM) 2nd Player FM or WFM and 3rd Player FM or WFM.
