French Individual Chess Championships 2015 |

The 2015 edition of French Individual Chess Championships is taking place from August 9th to August 20th, in Saint-Quentin, France.
Both events are played in 11-round format and many of the strongest French chess players joined the championships. Top seed are GM Etienne Bacrot and IM Almira Skripchenko.
GM Jean-Marc Degraeve took solo lead in the men’s section with 4/5 points. He outplayed GM Romain Edouard, GM Maxime Lagarde and IM Jules Moussard and drew with GM Yannick Gozzoli and GM Sebastien Maze.
The nearest followers Gozzoli and Cornette are one point behind.
IM Almira Skripchenko and WGM Nino Maisuradze share the lead with 4 points but the direct duel between them is yet to come.
WGM Maria Leconte is right behind the leaders with 3.5 points, while IM Sophie Millet and WIM Natacha Benmesbah share fourth place at 3 points each.
