Chess Federation of Pakistan under the auspices of World Chess Federation (FIDE) and in collaboration with the Chess Association of Punjab is organizing "Ist Pakchess FIDE rated Chess Tournament 2015" at Jinnah Conference Hall, SMART Hotel, 36 – Liberty Market Gulberg III, Lahore from Thursday, May 21 to Sunday, May 24, 2015.

Being the First FIDE rated tournament in the Country, the number of players has been confined to thirty out of which twenty shall be unrated while ten players shall be rated. Registration of players shall be based on first come first serve.

System of Play: The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss System with 7 rounds.

Time control: 90 Minutes + 30 sec per move from move number 1.
