The International Festival “Nebrodi in bianco e nero” will take place from the 28th of May to 2nd of June, in the historical chambers of the Abbazia di San Filippo in Frazzanò (ME). 

RULES & SCHEDULE

The event gets prestigious international importance with the participation of players (by now) from over 10 nations, the Festival will be subdivided in this way:

· OPEN TOURNAMENT – play with the masters-:9 rouns from 28th of May to 2nd of June, valid for the achievement of im and gm norm and elo FIDE variations;

· AMATEUR TOURNAMENT under 1700, -play for elo-: valid for ELO FIDE variations;

· YOUTH TOURNAMENT U16, -play for fun-

· Regional Sicilian Championship (open for Italian players)

The total award will be € 4500,00. 

The place that will host the event is the Abbazia di Fragalà, Frazzanò (ME), location unique in his kind, totally at chess players and mates disposal.

Facilitated accommodation rates in hotel start from € 20,00 per night (breakfast included!!!)

To make easy the participation whom will come out of Sicily free shuttles have been created for participants and companion (100 seats available).

The organization of Albergo diffuso dei Nebrodi, event’s partner, will manage the touristical part with the management of accommodation booking, organization of excurisons for companion and chess players… and for everything could be needed by the tourist in Nebrodi.
That is two lines such from Albergo Diffuso dei Nebrodi (winner in the International tourism festival in Madrid (january 2015) from their project and professionality).
In the heart of the Nebrodi mountains, on the Northern coast of Sicily, ten traditional Sicilian villages promote a new form of tourism, based on an innovative offer of a pleasant stay in real Sicilian houses, in the context of the Nebrodi Park area.
