The Kuwait Men’s Championship and Kuwait Women’s Championship and Under 16 Championship were held from January 30 to February 7, 2015.

The men’s event started as a 28-player Swiss System (9 Rounds). The women’s event was a 8-player round robin. The Under-6 event was a 12–player Swiss System (6 Rounds).

Hashem, Khaled and Alkhaldi, Bader shared the first place in men’s section with 7.5 /9 points each. Khaled is crowned new national champion thanks to the better Buchholz tie-break.

Al Kanderi, Suad and Alawadhi, Amenah shared the first place in women’s section with 6 /7 points each. Suad is crowned new national champion thanks to the better Direct Encounter tie-break.

Alamiri, Bader became the new Under 16 champion after concluding the race with 6/6 points.
