The Georgian Chess Federation organized the 2015 edition of the 72nd Georgian Individual Chess Championship for women from 10th to 19th January, 2015, in Tbilisi, the capital and largest city of Georgia.

The event was a 10-player round-robin tournament with time control 40/90′ + 30′ + 30″.

Georgian Olympic player IM Nino Batsiashvili emerged a convincing winner of the event, scoring 7/9 points and leaving the nearest followers full point behind.

GM Bela Khotenashvili and IM Nino Khurtsidze shared second place with 6 points, but Khotenashvili prevailed on a better tie-break score and took the silver.
