 The 18th Corsican Circuit is taking place on 18-22nd October 2014 in Corsica, an island in the Mediterranean Sea belonging to France.
The hefty prize fund in the amount of 95.000 € gathers 800 players from 30 different countries, including the former World Champion Viswanathan Anand, the reigning World Women’s Champion Yifan Hou, last year’s winner Ivan Saric, Pavel Tregubov, Romain Edouard, Csaba Balogh, Dariusz Swiercz, Igor Kovalenko, Martyn Kravtsiv and many other GMs and IMs.
