Pan-American Youth Chess Festival 2014

The 25th Pan-American Youth Chess Festival was held on 10-17th July at the Hotel Club Dorados, Oaxtepec, in the state of Morelos, Mexico.

The events was organized by the Confederation of Chess for Americas (CCA), Mexico National Chess Federation (FENAMAC) and the Organizer Committee, with the support of Comisión Nacional de Cultura Física y Deporte (CONADE). The event was open to all National Chess Federations of Americas.

According to the FIDE Regulations titles and norms are awarded to the medalists.

USA juniors won the greatest number of medals – eight, including five golds. Peru won 2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medal. Colombia has two golds, while Mexico, Chile and Puerto Rico have one gold each. Full table on the official website.
