The 15th Poikovsky Chess Tournament, named after the former world champion Anatoly Karpov, is going to take place on 11-20 May. The tournament format is 10-players round robin tournament.
Top seeded is last year’s winner Pavel Eljanov. His opponents are Ian Nepomniachtchi, Dmitry Jakovenko, Etienne Bacrot, Alexander Morozevich, Alexei Shirov, Alexander Motylev, Ivan Saric, Viorel Bologan, and Emil Sutovsky.
