Argam is one of young players showing steady performance


Pakistan,s 29th National Chess Championship gets full speed ahead after the completion of six rounds on 27th April when tournament leaders started drifting ahead of other competitors. The day belonged to the young, when 20 years old Ahmad Ali held IM Mahmood Lodhi to a draw after a double edged open game.

Candidate Master Anwar Qureshi was also deprived of half point by his young opponent. Two IM,s and One CM has to share the lead with four young prodigies, a sign for exciting days ahead. Championship news are being updated daily on Federation,s website www.cfp.com.pk
