Fischer random chess tournament in Moscow Print

Grandmaster Sergey Grigoriants emerged winner of the Fischer Random chess tournament that was held on 22-23 February at the RSSU in Moscow, Russia.

Grigoriants finished with 7 points from nine games to overtake GM Boris Grachev on tie-breaks.

The tournament was round robin with ten players and with the time control 20 min + 5 sec per player.

Final standings:
1-2. GM Grigoriants Sergey 2504 and GM Grachev Boris 2651 - 7
3. GM Deviatkin Andrei 2545 - 6
4. IM Stukopin Andrey 2576 - 5.5
5. GM Belov Vladimir 2575 - 4
6-8. IM Savina Anastasia 2338, Sarana Alexey 2315 and IM Paravyan David 2313 - 3.5
9. Kuznetsov Mikhail V. 2191 - 3
10. WGM Girya Olga 2364 - 2
