Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU), the biggest organisation of the reporters of daily news papers, online news, Radio and Television channels in Bangladesh organised the Media Chess Tournament with associated by Bangladesh Chess Federation.
The event was held on 25th November, Monday at the chess hall-room of Bangladesh Chess Federation. Mr. Mir Ahmed Hossain, Treasurer of Bangladesh Chess Federation, inaugurated the event to present as chief guest.
The event was held in knock out basis.
Mr. Mosalin Ahmed, Journalist of Daily Arthonity Protidin became champion of the event. Ziadul Islam, journalist of Daily Alokito Bangladesh became runner-up and Mr. Nuruzzaman Labu, journalist of Daily Sokaler Khobor became the 3rd.
Journalists of the daily news papers, online news, Radio and television channels are participated in the event.
