chess newsGodesberger Schachklub 1929 is organizing the 17th Godesburg Open on 3-11th August at the Gemeindehaus ev. Heiland-Kirchengemeinde Bad Godesberg, 53179 Bonn, Germany.

The playing format is 9-round Swiss and the total prize fund is 2000 EUR (first prize 600 EUR).

75 players are signed to participate and the capacity of the playing hall is 100. Top rated are Boidman Yuri 2403, Winterberg Lukas 2242, Khanukov Boris 2359 and Rotstein Jefim 2340.
