 1. TOURNAMENT ORGANISATION: The tournament is organized by Pirgos Chess Academy in collaboration with the club of Hotel owners of Ancient Olympia, Greek Chess Federation. 2. TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:
The final confirmation of the entrants will be done with the presence of the players on Thursday 29thAug for BLITZ 16.00-17.00 and for RAPID on Friday 30thAug, 15.00-16.30. Players arriving after the confirmation period they will be able to join on the second round if they have registered earlier. 3. VENUE: The tournament will take place at HOTEL OLYMPIC VILLAGE in Ancient Olympia 4. TIME CONTROL: For Bliz 5' + 3'' and for Rapid 20′ + 5" time renewal from move 1 and for every move. 5. PARTICIPATION REGULATIONS: Free for every one 6. PARTICIPATION FEE: The fee for the Blitz tournament will be 10 Euros. The fee for the Rapid tournament will be 20 Euros, for participating in both events there is a fixed fee of 25 Euros. The fee should be paid to the organisers before the Opening Ceremony during the entrants' confirmation period. 7. TOURNAMENT SYSTEM: Swiss 9 rounds. 8. TIE - BREAKS: The following are set after ties: 1. The greater number of victories 2. Sonneborn - Berger 3. Buchholz 4. Most games with black 9. OBJECTIONS: A committee will be arranged by the organizers, any objection should be handed in written to the tournament director with a fee of 50 euros an dit will be examined before the start of the next round. Any decision will be final and the fee will be returned if the objection is wholly or partly accepted. 10. PRIZES: Athletes missing the closing ceremony lose any claim to the prizes that will go to then ex athlete according to the standings. Athletes eligible for more than one prize will be awarded the higher one only. Diplomas will be given to all participants. BLITZ TOURNAMENT PRIZES

In the event of exhaustion of available rooms at the tournament hotel, the organization assures rooms in other hotels with in the Ancient Olympia with exactly the same economic conditions.
