World School Chess Championships 2013 were concluded after the exciting ninth round that was played in Porto Carras this morning.

The first winner in each open age category is the FIDE World School Champion for 2013 and the first girl in each girl age category is the FIDE World Girl School Champions for 2013. According to the regulations they are awarded with the FIDE Candidate Master title.

In the closing ceremony the winners were greeted enthusiastically with rounds of applause and cheering.

Trophies and medal were given by FIDE Honorary Member David Jarrett, ISCU President Alexander Kostyev, Porto Carras Sales Manager Photis Politis, Greek Chess Federation Board Member Argiris Kitharidis, Chief Arbiter Viron Tsorbatzoglou, Honorary FIDE Member Elizabetha Polihroniade, and Representative of Al Ain Chess Club Tarek Al Taher.
