After five round of play in the World School Chess Championships 2013 in Porto Carras, several players assumed pole positions in their respective sections with perfect scores.
Among the girls, Bagul Ezizova (Turkmenistan) in U7 and Anastasiya Protopopova (Russia) in U13 are standings on 5/5.
Among the boys, Diego Saul Flores Quillas (Peru) in U7, FM Tsvetan Stoyanov (Bulgaria) in U9 and Artem Trubchaninov (Russia) in U11 have been convincing so far.
Other sole leaders, but with 4,5/5 points each, are Denitza Dragieva (Bulgaria) in Girls17, Miradil Zeynalli (Azerbaijan) in Open15 and IM Muhammed Batuhan Dastan (Turkey) in Open17.
In Girls U9 WFM Bibissara Assaubayeva (Kazakhstan) and Malak Ismayil (Azerbaijan) are joint leaders with 4,5 points each.
In Girls U11 Aleksandra Maltsevskaya (Russia), WCM Sude Hereklioglu (Turkey) and Olga Badelka (Belarus) are sharing the lead with 4,5 points each.
In Girls U15 Hanna Krisztina Gal (Hungary) and Irina Drogovoz (Russia) are ahead of the chasing pack.
In Open U13 we have Valeriy Kazakovskiy (Belarus) and Dinar Abelguzin (Russia) standing on the top with 4,5 points each.
