The 2013 Lithuanian Championships for men and women were held on 20th-28th April at the conference room in the third floor of the hotel “Grata” in Vilnius.
The Open section was a single round-robin with 12 players. GM Darius Zagorskis became the new national champion after concluding the event with 7,5/11 points, a full point ahead of the chasing pack.
WGM Deimante Daulyte dominated the Women’s Championship and won with a 1.5 advantage over her closest follower. She won seven games and drew two to get this impressive result.
