Sanan Sjugirov wins Cappelle La Grande Open |

Grandmaster Sanan Sjugirov won the Cappelle La Grande International Open after edging seven players that obtained the same 7/9 score in the tie-breaks criteria.
The important games of the last round finished rather quickly. All the leaders from the eigth round signed draws in 21 moves or less. Three players took this opportunity to reach them in the standings with 7 points.
The players on the shared first place are: SJUGIROV Sanan 2646 RUS, NEGI Parimarjan 2638 IND, RODSHTEIN Maxim 2616 ISR, FEDORCHUK Sergey 2643 UKR, HANSEN Eric 2557 CAN, JIANU Vlad-Cristian 2500 ROU, FEDOROV Alexei 2576 BLR and VOVK Yuri 2594 UKR.
The next edition, that will mark the 30th anniversary of the tournament, will take place on 1st – 8th March 2014.
