The new 2700-club member, Wesley So has white versus Dziuba of Poland in the penultimate round and Gajewski has white vs the young Chinese sensation Wei Yi.

None of the top four seeds are on 6,5 but Giri, Cheparinov and Navara all have 6 points, while Vachier-Lagrave has fallen out of contention with two losses in a row.
