For the first time ever, the Chess Center Baden-Baden (aka Schachzentrum Baden-Baden) will host a category 19 Grandmaster tournament, the
GRENKE Chess Classic Baden-Baden. This event will follow the tradition of great chess tournaments that the well-known South German Spa town has established over the last two centuries.
The tournament is scheduled for February 7th – 17th 2013. The venue will be the historical halls of Kulturhaus LA8 (house of culture) in the center of Baden-Baden. The games will start daily at 15:00 CET, the last round starts at 13:00 CET.
