International Open Chess Tournament in Ilam, Nepal Print

Ram Prasad Gautam Memorial International Open Chess Tournament will take place on 24-29th September at the City Hall, Ilam Bazaar, Nepal. The tournament is organized by the Gajurmukhi Chess Club & District Chess Association Ilam.

The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess over 10 rounds of Swiss system with the time control of 90 min + 30 sec increment from move one.

Chief Arbiter is IA Bidur Prasad Gautam(NEP). Prize fund is NRs. 3,00,000/-( approx. US $ 3500).

Winner: Rs. 60,000/-; Second: Rs. 40,000/-; Third: Rs. 25,000/-; Fourth: Rs. 15,000/-; Fifth: Rs. 10,000/-; Sixth: Rs. 8,000/-; Seventh: Rs.8,000/-; Eighth: Rs. 6,000/-; Ninth: Rs.6,000/-; Tenth: Rs. 6,000/-; 11th–15th:Rs. 4,000/-each; 16th–20th:Rs. 3,000/-each.
