PARDUBICE OPEN – grand master tournament, part of ACP TOUR
Well-earned gold medal goes to Israel in the hands of GM Tamir Nabaty (7.5 points out of 9). In the ninth round played GM Nabaty well strategically decisive game with GM Kravtsiv from Ukraine and insured so great success, his performance was 2763.
About life success in Pardubice scored IM Vitezslav Rasik, who in the final round defeated GM Shanava and to his newly acquired GM norm joined also a great second place overall in the tournament. Bronze medal belongs to GM Chanda Sandipan, who confirmed his start list number.
Great favorite GM Nisipeanu did not use its bargaining position with GM Lalith in the last round. He tied the game and it moved him to fifth place overall.
A great tournament played Czech grandmaster Jan Votava, who kept in check last year's winner GM Kononenko. In the overall standings GM Votava ended on the sixth place. The third best Czech player became IM Vojtech Plat, however he cannot celebrate earning GM norm, because on the last round Polish GM Jaracz did not allow him more than a draw. IM Plat finished fourteenth overall.
With two wins in the last two rounds made his performance better GM Stocek, who ended on the 16th place overall.

Great tournament played also WGM Katerina Nemcova, with 5 points to her credit and performance levels for 2500 gained 40 ELO points and norm of international master. Also very good playing showed Czech WIM Olsarova Tereza, who gained 36 points to her rating and earned WGM norm.
During the OPEN PARDUBICE 18 norms were gained, two of GM – IM Rasik, IM Piorun from Poland. Furthermore, WGM norm (WIM Olsarova), 10 norms of IM and 5 norms of WIM.

CHESSBASE OPEN – open rating tournament
This tournament was very strong and strong foreign competitors came to Pardubice. That proves that the best Czech player Branko Husarik placed up to 11 place. The overall winner was IM Sergey Soloviev of Russia. Joy certainly made him performance of his wife WIM Valentina Solovjovova, who ended in the overall bronze place.

Excellent performance experienced teenage talent from Pardubice club SK 2222 Polabiny Jan Machan, when he earned bronze place in the total order. A gold medal take home Genadyi Belousov from Russia.

European champion became Russian player Rustem Kurbansky with 7.5 points. Women's champion, the Russian player Anastasia Semenova, in fourth place overall.The best tournament Czech player became Pavel Fencl from the club Joly Lysa nad Labem.

KONTAX OPEN –European Amateur Championship with ELO FIDE < 1800
European champion became a sovereign Alexander Bogdanov (Israel) with 8.5 of 9 possible points. Women's champion, the German player Kristina Lau, in sixth place overall. The best Czech representative in the tournament was Thomas Vrzal from club Tatran Poštorna.
