Torneo ITT Gráfica Yael - Torre Blanca was carried out between 21 and 29 July at the Círculo de Ajedrez Torre Blanca, Sanches de Bustamante 587, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The tournament format was 10-player round robin with classical time control, under the regulations of FIDE. The average elo of the participants was 2301 points.
FIDE Master Gaston Fabian was the clear winner of the tournament with 6.5 points from 9 rounds, a full point ahead of the International Masters Kevin Paveto (ARG) and Junio Brito Molina (BRA), who finished in second and third place respectively.
With this result, Gaston Fabian got his second IM norm and qualified to play in the 3rd Magistral "Gráfica Yael – Torre Blanca", which already has strong field consisting of GM Andres Rodriguez, GM Ariel Sorin, GM Federico Perez Ponsa, IM Nahuel Díaz, IM Carolina Lujan.
