The 13th edition of the ASEAN Age-Group Championships opened on 11th June in the ancient city of Hue, Vietnam with more than 400 players from 11 countries competing in 78 events - classical, rapid, blitz - individual and team. Hue City this year celebrates its 1,000th Anniversary. The opening ceremony which took 90 minutes was broadcast live on national TV.
