Vladimir Kramnik defeated his compatriot Evgeny Tomashevsky in the 6th round of the Tal Memorial to catch Alexander Morozevich on the shared first place. Morozevich was defeated by Hikaru Nakamura.
Fabiano Caruana won against Luke McShane and is now sharing the third place.
