Australian Luchtmeijer wins Asian Seniors in Sydney Print

Anthonie (Ton) Luchtmeijer of Australia has won the 2012 Asian Senior and 2012 Oceania Senior Championships which were held 1-8 June 2012 at the Parramatta RSL Chess Club in Sydney.

Ton Luchtmeijer (rated 2161) scored 6.5/9 to finish half a point ahead of WFM Shirchin Battsengel of Mongolia who won the 2012 Asian Senior Women’s title.

WFM Helen Milligan of New Zealand won the Oceania Senior Women’s title.
