Nana Dzagnidze wins ACP Women Cup Print

Three rounds were played in the last day of the ACP Women Cup. Before the 11th round Pia Cramling was the sole leader while Nana Dzagnidze and Katerina Lahno shared the second place half a point behind.

In the last round playing with white Pia Cramling made a quick draw in the game against Kateryna Lahno and was waiting for the result of the game Kosintseva T. – Dzagnidze.

Georgian player managed to win a crucial game and got the right to play tie-break against Pia Cramling in order to determine a winner.
Two blitz games of the tie-break match were drawn, thus the winner was determined in Armageddon. Nana Dzagnidze managed to win the game and became the winner of the ACP Women Cup.

The closing ceremony was held in "Metehis Chrdili" restaurant. The players, Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Lado Vardzelashvili, Director General of "SOCAR Energy Georgia" Mahir Mammedov, President of ACP Emil Sutovsky, President of GCF Giorgi Giorgadze, and other officials came to the awarding ceremony.
