The 1st Split Open is taking place from 5th to 13th August in the coastal city of Split, Croatia. 120 players participate in the 9-round Swiss tournament. The prize fund is 7360 EUR, with 1500 EUR dedicated to the winner.
After four rounds of play, Grandmasters Ognjen Cvitan, Ibro Saric, Marin Bosiocic and IM Darko Doric are leading the standings with perfect score.
