The 2011 Politiken Cup is taking place from Saturday July 30th to Sunday August 07th. 309 players compete and among them 26 Grandmasters, 14 International Masters, and 12 players rated above 2600 elo.
Playing times:
Official Opening Saturday 13.00 Round 1. 14.00;
Round 2-3 Sunday the 31 July round at 9.00 and 3. round starts at 16.00.
Round 4. - 9. 13.00
Round 10 starts at 10.00. Price ceremony 16.30
Open to all players. 10- rounds FIDE Swiss in nine days.  Rate of play:
90 min for 40 moves + 30 min for the rest of the game + 30 sec increment for every move played starting from the first move.
Prizes (in DKK): 20.000 kr more than in 2010.
