The 10th Avicenna International Open Tournament, organized by the Hamadan Chess Association on behalf of I.R.Iran Chess Federation, is taking place from 24th to 31st July in Hamadan, western Iran.
257 players are taking participation in the 11-round Swiss event. Nine-times national champion GM Ehsan Ghaem Maghami is the top seeded player. Full list bellow.
Prizes (US Dollars): 1st 2500$, 2nd 2000$, 3rd 1800$, 4th 1500$, 5th 1200$, 6th 800$, 7th-10th 400$.
