10th Dubai Juniors Starts |

The 10th Dubai Juniors Chess Championship 2011 for boys & girls under 14 category is going on 2-10 July 2011 with the participation of 190 players from 18 federations competing for the Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Cup and US$10,000 in cash prizes.
In above photo, the tournament was opened by Ibrahim Al Bannai (left), President of the Dubai Chess Club & Arab Chess Federation and Sheikh Saud Al Mualla (center), President of the UAE Chess Federation and Sharjah Chess Club, and Khaled bin Zayed (right), representative of the Dubai Sports Council.
