Telkom Indonesia together with Indonesian Chess Federation will held the Open Chess International Tournament named TELIN Chess International Tournament 2011 on 1-7 April 2011 in Jakarta-Indonesia. Here is the details of the event:

The tournament will be played at the Graha Citra Caraka PT Telkom, Aula Pangeran

4. CATEGORY

Individual Standard Chess Open Tournament

5. TIME CONTROL

90 minutes with 30 seconds increment for every move starting from the first move

6. FORMAT

FIDE Rated, 9 Round Swiss System

7. RULES

TELIN CHESS International Tournament 2011 will be conducted in accordance with the Rules of the Federation International des Echecs (FIDE). In case of a disagreement in the interpretation of rules, the English text of the rules shall prevail:

7.1 Article 10.2 is not valid

7.2 Zero-Start shall be applied

8. Pairing

Pairing will be based on the Swiss Manager

9. Tie Break

Tie-Break will be defined during Technical Meeting

10. Protest

Protest about the Arbiters decision shall be submitted to the Appeals Committee at the latest within 30 minutes, accompanied by Protest Money US $ 100, and if the Protest is upheld the money will be refunded

11. Appeals Committee

Appeals Committee will be defined during Technical Meeting

12. Other Matters

In all other matters not covered by the preceding rules, the decision of the Organizing Committee shall be final
