The 29th Andorra Chess Open is scheduled to take place from 16th to 24th July at the Hotel Sant Gothard, Ctra. d'Arinsal s/n. Erts (La Massana). The tournament is organized by Federació d'Escacs Valls d'Andorra. The Andorra Chess Open is valid for the "VIIIè Circuit Català d'Oberts Internacionals".

The competition will be a nine round Swiss. Games are starting from 15:30h daily, except the first and second rounds at 16:00h and the last round that will be from 09:30h. The time control is 40 moves in 90 minutes and 30 minutes to finish with an increment of 30 seconds per move starting from the first move.

The organization will accept a maximum of 180 inscriptions. Total prize fund is 10.000 EUR for 16 prizes in the general classification.
