GM Gonda Laszlo (HUN) tied with GM Ilincic Zlatko (SRB) took the top two places in the extraordinarily tough GM tournament. The winner lost while the last player could win Rating-points. Any title norms could have been hard to get with GM-s playing so well.

There were four more groups with 41 players involved from all over the world for FIDE-Ratings. The most interesting of these was the lower rated Development Group the battle of the youngest and the oldest generations.

Csetneki Mark (HUN) the youngest boy (9) won convincingly stumbling only once. He defeated experienced opponents some of them seven decades older than him.
