2010 Croatia Chess Championship Print

The 2010 Croatia Chess Championship was held from 17th to 27th January in Marija Bistrica. Twelve players participated in the round robin tournament. Two players singled out on the top in the second half of the competition, but GM Ante Brkic managed to stay one step ahead of GM Ivan Saric and claim the Championship with impressive 8.5 points. Brkic also earned 30 elo points for this effort.

Ivan Saric, the 2007 U18 European Youth Chess Champion and the 2008 U18 World Youth Chess Champion, was second with 8 points.
